Title: Nod32 breaking Call of Duty 4 on STEAM
Post by: jason on November 23, 2007, 07:00:46 PM
A recent patch on steam brings about a false positive in NOD32 which removes a file. The file which was effected on my machine was iw3sp.exe

To fix the problem:

Set your STEAM directory to be an exception to the AMON scanning.

Within STEAM right click on COD4 and select Properties, click the "Local Files" tab and select "Verify Integrity"

Job's a gooden
