 wierd that there are the xp lovers & haters.

I think it's a great OS, and bung it out on the machines I sell & on the ones at work.

I meant get an extra 512 meg   :)

You should still consider reinstall to fix issues - get latest drivers & service packs etc - even if staying on 2000

I always like the way that Jason puts 'Generals' at the back of the game list as if it doesn't get played TWICE as much as any other game...  :rolleyes:

Its so its the last thing you read and the last thing you think of at night ;)

That system will run all of those games nice and smooth, reinstall time methinks :D Whats the matter with XP? Really stable and you can even make it look like inferior windows if you want :P

Funny I had no problem until I installed sp 3 (until 5 months ago I was still on win98)

Like I said in tother post - most of my fluff not work with XP.

Is Generals than new C&C game? Last I played was Red Alert. mmmm tesa coils.

It's the best C+C game ive played since the first one!
No Telsa's its all about current day weaponry, but we still have ion cannons, and nukes!

I think htere are ways of getting ld software to run under xp, and theres allways dual boot :)

ive installed xp on more pcs than hot and cold dinners put together. i have NEVER had a problem..

 i actually really liked 98.... when u rip all the crap out of it...

but yer.... xp is a better os... still cant say i like it all that much, it still randomly crashes and its still full of bugs...
