Hey, just thought it'd be good to sort what RTS we'll be playing at the upcoming Lan, I say this because if it
is Company of Heroes (although I doubt the enthuisasm here) I should warn you the latest patch is over a gig big to compensate for the expansion.

I don't mind which RTS we play so long as we can agree on just the one or two, Generals is fine but its a bit old hat now, I reckon World in Conflict would be grand and everyone is kinda new to it?

Anyhow, its open so...

I don't see why we can't play both.

Zero-Hour is still a damn good game despite it's age.  Once it's installed and we get through mismatch hell it should go on working (as long as you don't piss about with it).

Company of Heroes is too much like watching paint dry for me, so I won't be playing it I'm afraid.

You did really well at company of heroes (I've seen the replays) in CoH its pretty hard to tell whose winning until your in their base blowing everything up.

I'll see if I can persuade John to play Generals but I think Generals and CoH should be the standard, something everything at least knows and can get the hang of

Don't stand so close to the paint when you watch it dry, you won't trip out so much

Not against me with GLA Wink

I say I won't play it now, but when the games up and there's nothing else to do I probably will...

Opposing fronts is fun, the new armies are refreshing to play after being limited to two choices for a long time. i suggest buying it.
