LANSE 34 feedback
« on: February 05, 2006, 09:37:48 PM »
Thanks to Jason for organising it all, best LANSE in a long time. I realy had good fun. Some very minor problems with one of the servers getting laggy and needing reboots, but was fixed or fixed itself after a few goes.

Good to see some new faces, seemed like a nice bunch of people. Missed a few regulars tho, Viper... Blade... Sushi... Cosmo... Kerr to name a few.

There was no group breakfast as normal, but I found that I did not miss it so much and the lie in I had on Sunday would not have been possible if there was, so can't complain ;)

Bring on the next one!

That was a very good LAN.

An excellent variety of games were played, with pretty much everyone playing everything.

I didn't really miss breakfast - but I woke up early still  :(

The CS:S server had a conflict with the MANI admin mod we used - making it unplayable after 8 players joined. After nukeing MANI admin all was good.

Curry centre was excellent as always.

Thanks for observing the no pr0n rule.

I hope the new guys enjoyed the weekend.

Gaz, can you get your guys to post some feedback on here.

Excellent LAN, missed a few games due to insufficient disk space, need to switch out my 37gb raptor for a 74 version :P

Highlights: whining like Paul while getting owned at dota, seeing the child like glee in blueys eyes as he finally found a game he was good at (cod2), CS:S (I only play it at LANs and still own :))

Nice to see some new blood, very very loud new blood, especially on a sunday morning, lol

Congrats to thevipergil, who started the weekend as a complete DotA noob and ended it with a decent kill:death ratio!

I must say I didnt miss the breakfast trip to wendovers at all, but it would be nice to see Tony (or a similar unhealthy food vendor) back at the LANs.

All-in-all a great weekend

I think you will find I carried your ass in CS:S for several games, and when I was not tom or Jason were. In short, to summarise, you sucked at CS:S Sencerd.

Yes tom was good at COD and CS:S and I also enjoyed his "child like glee"

I also LOVED that sencerd was almost in tears on the last DOTA game, and that I OWNED at island TD. muwahhaha

DotA tonight anyone? :)

Yes, bring back tony :)

I enjoyed my child liek glee as i was moking sencerd and him me also (but more me him becaues Sencerd sucks tbqfh)

One word mate "carried"

And i think we've settled the arguement on whos the king of dota ...

I had a great time, hopefully the first of many weekends at lanse. The range of games was perfect, although some more BF2 would have been cool.
Thanks for a great time!

ello all,

thanks first to jason for organising, it was fantastic, everyone fully enjoyed it, was a little shame about the server going down but that didnt ruin the enjoyment, and everyone wants to go again, if you want to see what some of ours said theres a post on our forums http://vbdh.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=38

ive said about the june 2nd lan as that would give plenty of time to sort it out again, but yeah all in all it was excellent
