We'll swap things about a bit, after. I thought we could start with the deep end first and see how they cope!

Well. . .
We are having a quick discussion in the forums, and from the initial look all seems good.

What did you think of the experience?

Would you like to fight alongside us, or is it not your thing?

HI Guys,

Thanks for last night - sorry for my abrupt departure. I'll be honest this is the first clan that I've tried out for and I dont think that it is my bag to be honest. I think i prefer playing by myself online...a bit less pressure....my KDR is 1.76 normally.....last night I imagine it was about 0.1 Wink

I'll still visit your server when I can.....

Cheers

I enjoyed it very much. I like 1942 and the LANSE server is nice and fast.

Got to grips with Teamspeak I think, I hadn't used it before - very good.

I would join in again given the opportunity and schedule willing.

The clan experience is very different from going solo against the public.  More often than not you are playing against better players than you who are all pushing to take their objective.

When playing as a team the individual isn't that important - it's how they interact with the group & and how the group progresses togethor.

It is very hard to shake the K/D ratio or wanting to come top of your team's scoreboard, once you've got your head around is't a team win rather than a personal win the whole gaming expeience changes for the better.

If you want to have another go in a more relaxed enviroment Marc, we'll arrange another session,

I had no idea that last night was a clan trial event, so thank you all very much for letting me gatecrash and join in regardless!

Having only really played BF42 in what is best described as "chaotic LAN play" I found the objective based team play style last night far more enjoyable, and certainly fleshes out the role of the other character classes.

Hopefully once my current manic work load reduces a bit I'll have more opportunity to join in again, and who knows - maybe soon I'll be one of the trialists standing on the little hill thinking "holy fcuk, there's 6 tanks coming my way!" Wink

I loved it, thanks very much everyone Smiley

You have hit the nail on the head there Jason, who doesn't want to come top when playing normally? But the last BOTB we played I think I came bottom in all but 1 round and maybe got 2 kills in total. But I know the part I played was as vital a role as the guy that came top.

I liked the way tactics kept on changing each round. Defenders trying out new things to slow the Axis down. The Kill Death ratios for Axis seriously went up by the 4th or 5th attempt.

Saying that the North Bridge on BOB is one of the toughest to defend and attack, which is of course why we picked it.

All trialists did extremely well and really started to gel as a team after a short period of time

Played guys
