 Hiya,
One of the smallest LANSE LAN's yet, and one of the most fun. Good games, great players and a good atmos.

Loved the break for poker and pizza, the quality UT2004 maps and even Adam had a go at Warcraft Smiley

WC3 was fun for what i played, pity i couldn't stay longer, cheers for supporting the small number, and for the birthday celebrations Smiley

Have been playing wc3 tower defense today and its a good laugh to try and do the pokemaul gold one by yourself.

Wont be at the nxt one but most probbly need to be at the one after for a break.

Thanks again,

 Glad you all enjoyed it.

It was quite a chilled session.

UT2004 is a definate must for the next LAN(s).

Does anyone have any setup details for the server side?

INstall the game, then "host game" set it up in the same way and click "dedicated" instead of "listen"

Should also use built in voice comms, its server side, and when you talk your characters face appears on the side of everyones screen Smiley

for single player games with bots you can bark commands at them:
DEFEND: Defend the base.
ATTACK: Attack the enemy base.
COVER ME: The bot will protect you.
FREELANCE: The bot acts as a rover.
HOLD POSITION: The bot comes over and holds your current position.
STATUS: The bot provides its current status.
GIMME: The bot gives you their current weapon.

There are also some hidden voice commands that you will have to discover

 Sounds good,

We tried to pimp UT2004 at the last LAN, but to no avail.  Hopefully get some decent action at the next lan.  Our servers are all set up for UT2004 so no probs there.

I was thinking of a way to do it without having to run up the full game?
